Waterscapes
There are always cool shots to be taken around water:
Rocks and leaves... |
Mini rapids... |
River foam!

Sunlight ripples onto the rocks below the surface:

and leaves...
(You may have seen this shot already on the Grants Pass Autumn page.)
Rotting leaves create a new form of sidewalk art: they leave behind impressions on the sidewalks!

More interesting shots:

A nebula?
(No, an oil spill.)
Stars in the night sky?
(No, sunlight reflecting off the Rogue River!)
Raindrop Web
One day while Margarita and I were out walking, I discovered a mesh spider web covered with raindrops. It was suspended over a maple leaf and some berry bushes. The effect was stunning!

It was hard to get all the drops in focus; the web sagged!
Look carefully at the right side of this image. The berry bush is reflected in the drops!

The wonders of nature are all around, when we take the time to observe them. Take some time out today to enjoy the natural world!
Thank you for visiting!
